tasting red wine
i've had a lot of red wine over the last month.first off was a trip to a wine tasting in the winelands. we paid a few bucks to get a wine glass, and 5 coupons for red wine. with 15 minutes left on the clock, we were forced to down (did i say that, i meant taste), 5 different red wines, and to try identify the wood, chocolate, fruit and other tastes in them.
i have also made a habit of ordering either a glass of red wine or a bottle of red wine whenever i go to a restaurant, and have become a little better at identifying flavours in the red wines.
occasionly, and it isn't happening often yet, i'll open a bottle of red to accompany my meal when i eat at home.
